Our biggest kids are always gearing up for kindergarten and the pre-k teachers don’t miss a beat when it comes to creating a learning opportunity out of anything. From learning to line up and walk in the halls to writing their name and identifying words using worksheets, your child will astound you with their skills. They will be graduating in no time!
With a variety of activities, extensive circle times, and several academic centered worksheets throughout the day, when you step into the Bear and Wolf rooms, you will always find our students, and teachers, hard at work learning something new! Throughout the school year, we will join alongside you in teaching and watching your child learn and grow toward being a big Kindergartener. From learning how to line up nicely and respectfully in the hallways to engaging in circle time activities to begin learning what sounds letters make, our teachers waste no opportunity to help prepare their students. Along with a fun and fascinating school year, Future Foundations holds an end of the year Graduation Ceremony in May to honor all its biggest students in their journey toward kindergarten.
Our biggest Future Foundations friends are constantly learning and growing in their preparation for kindergarten. These classes work hard to prepare your child with the essential skills needed to succeed going into the public or private school setting, including understanding worksheets, following directions, correct name writing and recognition, correctly identifying numbers and the letters of the alphabet, and playing or sharing with their peers. Setting these foundations for success in their academic future is exactly what we hope to help mold in all our students.
Future Foundations provides the following to its pre-k:
