3 & 4 Classrooms

Our Fox and Owls rooms feature wonderful teachers who will work toward Pre-Kindergarten readiness with your child, including identifying and properly writing their name and introduce basic worksheets to enhance their fundamental knowledge of letters, shapes, colors, and numbers. This age works diligently on social/emotional development as well, with the teachers helping navigate all the big emotions that come with being three and four. From using our words with friends and teachers to explain our feelings to finding appropriate physical outlets to deal with emotions such as getting out our wiggles or taking deep breaths, our Fox and Owl teachers work side by side with parents to develop the best course of action in dealing with behaviors, both through reward and redirection.

In the Fox and Owl rooms, you will find an abundance of age-appropriate activities geared toward learning and fun! These room have centers times throughout the day that allow each individual child an opportunity to work on a variety of developmental skills such as large motor, fine motor, and problem solving as well as have fun with science experiments, imaginative sensory activities, and creative arts and crafts. These rooms also have circle times aimed toward reinforcing previously learned concepts (letters, numbers, shapes, and colors) as well as introducing and expanding on more abstract ideas (weeks, months, and years). Don’t forget to ask what your child’s favorite activity of the day was; they may surprise you!

Future Foundations provides the following to its infants:
